DRC: The Constitutional Court confirms the re-election of Félix Tshisekedi as President
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Constitutional Court has just confirmed this Tuesday evening, January 9, Félix Tshisekedi President of the Republic. The Court was studying two appeals requesting the annulment of the December 20 election.

The constitutional court has just confirmed the re-election of Félix Tshisekedi with 73.47% of the votes. The Court therefore confirmed the results proclaimed by the CENI, the Independent National Electoral Commission following the presidential election of December 20.
Two appeals had been filed, one by an individual, the other by a candidate: Théodore Ngoy.
He is the only candidate to have filed an appeal requesting the cancellation of the vote, due, he believes, to the irregularities observed on the day of the vote. The other opponents abstained, accusing the Court of being subservient to power.
Well, the Court declared Théodore Ngoy's request admissible, but unfounded.
As for the ordinary citizen's request, it was declared inadmissible for lack of quality.
The Court ultimately only took 24 to render its decision.
