The impact of diplomatic meetings on the security situation in eastern DRC
The extraordinary SADC summit in Lusaka, Zambia, evaluated missions in DRC and Mozambique and closed this last weekend in Lusaka, Zambia. Heads of state condemned Rwanda's actions against the SADC mission in DRC.

The African Union mediator has appointed a mediator with the task of arranging a face-to-face meeting between Félix Tshisekedi and Paul Kagame. Before their meeting, both countries' delegations discussed security concerns in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Delegations from the DRC and Rwanda, led by Christophe Lutundula, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DRC, and Vincent Biruta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda, met with the Angolan facilitator, represented by Tête António, well before the SADC summit on March 21 in Luanda.
Ministers agreed on a second meeting in the Angolan capital at the ministerial level in a few days, according to Angop.
What is your opinion on how all these meetings are affecting the security situation in the DRC?
Can the Tshisekedi-Kagame meeting restore peace to East DRC?
On the other side, most meetings were happened between both sides never had any impact due to the denial of RDC leaders who refused to respect the processes the Luanda and Nairobi.
RDC insisted that Rwanda supported M23 which is the former denial.
